Gesture Control: Wave on, Wave off! No touching, no fingerprints!
Thanks to the new Touchless Control technology, the motion sensor on the control panel can detect hand gestures to operate the hood. While traditional touch control is still available, it’s up to the user whether to use touch or gestures to control the hood. By swiping your hand to the right, you can turn on the hood at speed 1, with the flap and light initially activated, and then gradually increase the speed.
Delay Shut Off Timer: Ensure a clean grease-free kitchen air!
The hood will continue to eliminate odors and keep your kitchen smelling fresh with the delay shutdown function. When you’re done cooking, you can activate the delay shut-off by swiping your hand to the left. The hood will continue operating for 3 more minutes before turning off. Alternatively, you can activate the same function with a single press of the On/Off button. During this time, the power button will blink.
Auto Clean Technology: Clean hood automatically via heat!
Thanks to Auto Clean technology, your hood cleans itself with maximum efficiency. The heating elements inside melt a significant amount of grease, which is then collected in the bottom oil collector.

Thanks to Auto Clean technology, your hood cleans itself with maximum efficiency. The heating elements inside melt a significant amount of grease, which is then collected in the bottom oil collector. To activate Auto Clean, simply press and hold the Auto Clean icon, and the hood will collect grease into the oil collector within 10 minutes. The oil collector is easy to remove and can be wiped or washed to effortlessly eliminate the collected grease.

The new Bosch hoods are with filterless technology. As the chimney operates, the blower spins at high speed, generating centrifugal force that pushes oil and grease particles to the sides of the chimney, away from the airflow path. These particles are then collected in a separate oil collector tray through the Self Clean mechanism. Cleaning has never been easier!
